DUAL EDUCATION
Partner with dual education – invest in the future workforce! Dual education is a cooperation model between the vocational school and businesses, where students learn the practical profession directly at your workplace, gaining valuable skills and real-world experience.
How the dual system works at our school

Profiles
The dual system is offered in the 12th grade, in the Culinary and Reception profiles.

Weekly schedule
3 days of work/practice at the business and 2 days at school: Monday and Tuesday at school; Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at the business. Weekends — only if the students agree.

Duration
The process starts in October and lasts until the first week of June.

The mentor
The business appoints an experienced mentor, who guides and teaches the students throughout the practice and gives the final evaluation.

Contract and selection
We sign a contract together with the school. After September 14 you can come to the school to interview and select the students — the choice is yours.

Payment
The minimum payment for the student is 16,000 lekë per month. Social contributions are minimal — 0.3% of the national minimum wage (about 150 lekë/month).

Your duties as an employer
- Sign the agreement with the school and the contract with the student.
- Provide a safe workplace and the equipment needed to learn the profession.
- Appoint an experienced mentor, responsible for guiding and evaluating the student.
- Pay the student at least 30% of the national minimum wage (a minimum of 16,000 lekë per month) — you have no other costs.
- Respect the legal working hours: a maximum of 6 hours per day and 30 hours per week for students aged 16–18.
- Provide breaks and proper conditions for work and health.
Who can be a business that offers Dual Education?
- Private businesses with 3+ years in the market and at least 2 registered employees.
- Public entities that meet the legal criteria.
- Suitable infrastructure and qualified staff for mentoring.
